Deliverance Church International Tanzania was established in 1998 as a single local church, in 2008 the church was registered by the government of Tanzania under the ministry of Home affairs. The vision and support to carry on the mission was from Bishop Dr. Jimmy Kimani of Deliverance Church International Zimmerman, Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya.
